DIY Gray Hair using NO Dye!

Recently, I’ve been wanting to do something fun with my hair.  The only problem I had was I

didn’t want it to be permanent (been there done that *cringe*).  I also didn’t want to use dye.  Ya, I know, what am I going to use then?

A couple of weeks ago one of my favorite bloggers, Cara Loren posted about a product she uses called Overtone.  She used a beautiful pink color and it looked gorgeous.  The best part was it was only a conditioner and washed out within 4 washes.  After a lot of thought I decided to give it a try.

I ordered the bundle of Pastel Silver deep treatment and pastel silver daily conditioner fromOvertone.  With that purchase I got a free sample size conditioner in pastel teal which I have yet to use.  I am here to review and show you guys how amazing this product is if you want to spice up your hair life for a bit!

I started with a dark, blonde color.  On the website, they can help you pick a color to achieve the look you want with their chat hotline.  After I decided on the pastel silver, I ordered it and now I’m here to show you the results.

I first began with the deep treatment, which you can do once a week or however much you choose, it deposits more color than the daily conditioner.  I used it on dry hair because they said it takes the color better.  Once I covered and saturated my

After letting the conditioner set for 20 minutes, I rinsed my hair.  I did not use shampoo or

conditioner here, just rinse.  Believe it or not you can actually use hot water with this conditioner and the color still deposits nicely, its amazing.  I rinse and dry my hair like normal and begin to style.

Overall, I am so impressed with this product, I have now washed my hair once and used the daily conditioner and I’m still so impressed with the color and have gotten tons of compliments.  This post is in no way sponsored or affiliated with any companies or people mentioned above.
